Laiptai Kaune: a manufacturing business website

The Laiptai Kaune website presents a staircase manufacturing business, its services and work. For this project, I prepared the design, service pages and contact form. Product visuals have a prominent place, with a route from viewing the work to asking about a visitor’s own project.

The business and what visitors need

Staircase manufacturing is a visual, individual service. Someone choosing a manufacturer needs to see the work, understand the services and find a way to discuss a particular space. A single general sentence about manufacturing would not provide enough information.

Service information explains the offer, while images of the work give visitors a starting point for a conversation. A contact form provides a route to describing their needs after they have explored the website.

My contribution to the project

  • Prepared the website design and presentation of the main content sections.
  • Created service pages to explain the staircase manufacturing business.
  • Implemented a contact form for visitor enquiries.

Design that gives the product a prominent place

The portfolio screenshot shows a dark background, a light headline and a large staircase visual. The restrained colour palette gives the product space, while the text and contact button remain distinct elements.

The top navigation links to business information, services, the gallery and contact details. Images of the work begin below the opening section. Visitors can approach the website in two ways: start by viewing the products or go straight to information about a service.

From service information to a specific enquiry

Separate service pages provide room to explain what the business offers. They allow a fuller description than a brief introduction on the homepage. Visitors can explore the topic that matters to them before moving to contact.

The contact form currently includes fields for a name, phone number, email, location, service and a short description. These give visitors a way to provide context in their first enquiry. My contribution to this project included implementing the contact form itself.

What can you explore on the website?

  • Open the Laiptai Kaune website and look at the opening screen.
  • Compare the role of service pages and images of the work in explaining the business.
  • Browse the contact page and the information a visitor can include in an enquiry.
